Sharepoint 2010 Installtion Configuration Failed

When you install Sharepoint 2010 trying to connect to SQL Server 2012 Database you get the following message. Could not find Stored Porocedure SP_dboption as show in the snapshot. The Solution is to Install Sharepoint 2010 SP1 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26623

Error when you deploy helpdesk.wsp

Command Line error when you try to install ApplicationTemplateCore.wsp

You might get a command line error when you try and install ApplicationTemplateCore.wsp when you copy the command from the deployment instructions file. The solution is to type the entire command rather than copy paste. Hope the tip saves some headaches. 🙂
